Jodi is a Managing Attorney leading a team of attorneys and paralegals in support of high-tech high growth clients in the Bay Area, Austin and Midwest areas. She guides clients through the alphabet soup of common corporate visa status options and supports our clients in pioneering new ways of facilitating the hiring of important human capital.
Jodi graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law with a concentration in International Human Rights Law. Jodi realized her passion for immigration law while taking law school classes on the subject, serving clients in the Immigration Clinic at the University, and interning at the U.S. Consulate in Lisbon, Portugal. Prior to law school, Jodi served as a Health Volunteer for the U.S. Peace Corps in Mozambique where she implemented community-based projects promoting HIV/AIDS awareness, treatment, and prevention. It was this experience that inspired her to pursue a career in law.
Jodi’s favorite pastime is traveling, specifically seeing all of those famous landmarks she dreamed about while growing up on a farm in central Nebraska. She has hiked the Salkantay Trail to Machu Picchu, climbed the Great Wall, hitchhiked to Victoria Falls, ascended the 387 steps to the bell tower of the Notre Dame Cathedral, and witnessed the sunrise at the sacred site of Uluru. Some day she hopes to visit her seventh and last continent and dance with the penguins in Antarctica.
