David is a frequent commentator on immigration matters through public speaking engagements to HR groups (SHRM, BAPRM, WINGs, LRHMA), expat groups, corporate clients, and interested employer groups who need direction on immigration compliance in this age of immigration restrictions. He has also contributed to legislative issues for SHRM, AILA and individually for corporate clients. He recently testified at the NE Judiciary Committee on current proposed immigration restrictions.

An immigrant himself, David was born in Canada and moved to the U.S. in late 2000, where he held a TN, H-1, and then Permanent Residence before becoming a U.S. Citizen in 2008. He’s experienced the immigration bureaucracy first hand and lived to tell about it…

David is an avid runner and loves nature and travel. He enjoys raising his three children Parker, Penelope, and Thatcher with his wife Jenni.
